I see cutting as a positive thing, in my opinion.
For me, it relieves stress, feels good, and as long as you use sterile stuff, it should heal up nicely.

I know she's hurting, I know she cuts, and I just feel helpless - I want to help, but I can't pry. I don't want to chase her away, everyone else just... leaves. She covers her arms, and she's /always/ smiling... I used to do that, too. When someone close had cancer, I would always smile and pretend everything was fine - but nothing /was/ fine. Nothing felt fine. Does she feel like that? I'm worried. I'll be here for her, always.
